Ankur, No offence intended. We will honestly range all coming proposals according to their quality and routine proposed by administrators. Then we try getting our students pass in that order.
Since it is impossible to measure intentionvs, we will measure patches and other measurable quaities of proposal. According to former Apache guidelines, the reference to time absence cost student proposal 2 points. I don't know if they keep this scoring system till now. -- With best regards / с наилучшими пожеланиями, Alexei Fedotov / Алексей Федотов, http://dataved.ru/ +7 916 562 8095 2012/4/6 Ankur Ankan <[email protected]>: > Hey I meant that only 8-9 hrs are left now which won't be enough for > writing a good proposal but I really want to do this and I am ready to > devote all my time for this. > > On Fri, Apr 6, 2012 at 3:00 AM, Alexei Fedotov > <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Let me be honest. >> Those who are selected are assumed to have enough time for writing >> good proposals and code. >> >> -- >> With best regards / с наилучшими пожеланиями, >> Alexei Fedotov / Алексей Федотов, >> http://dataved.ru/ >> +7 916 562 8095 >> >> >> >> 2012/4/6 Ankur Ankan <[email protected]>: >> > Can I get selected even if my proposal is not very detailed because I >> > dont think that now I am having much time to write a very detailed >> > proposal >> > >> > On 4/6/12, Ankur Ankan <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Can I get selected even if my proposal is not very detailed because I >> >> dont think that now I am having much time to write a very detailed >> >> proposal >> >> >> >> On 4/6/12, Alexei Fedotov <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>> Ankur, >> >>> Make sure you file your proposal to melange. >> >>> >> >>> -- >> >>> With best regards / с наилучшими пожеланиями, >> >>> Alexei Fedotov / Алексей Федотов, >> >>> http://dataved.ru/ >> >>> +7 916 562 8095 >> >>> >> >>> >> >>> >> >>> On Fri, Apr 6, 2012 at 11:19 AM, [email protected] >> >>> <[email protected]> wrote: >> >>>> Hi Ankur, >> >>>> >> >>>> I have done a basic Zimbra integration some time ago so I can tell you >> >>>> something about it: >> >>>> >> >>>> Plugins in Zimbra are called "Zimlets". >> >>>> As Zimbra has a Calendar it would be nice if users can add to every >> >>>> Zimbra >> >>>> Calendar Events a OpenMeetings conference room, and every participant >> >>>> that >> >>>> is invited to the calendar event in Zimbra then receives a email in >> >>>> Zimbra, >> >>>> this email could also contain the generated link (including the >> >>>> invitation >> >>>> Hash) to enter the conference room. >> >>>> SOAP/REST API calls to perform needed things are already available for >> >>>> OpenMeetings, so you would only need to do the things in Zimbra. >> >>>> >> >>>> Also in Zimbra it would be nice if you can attach an invitation to a >> >>>> conference room at the bottom of every email that you send to >> somebody. >> >>>> Again the "Zimlet" should insert into the email the direct link to the >> >>>> conference room. >> >>>> Again: SOAP/REST API calls to perform needed things are already >> >>>> available >> >>>> for OpenMeetings, so you would only need to do the things in Zimbra. >> >>>> >> >>>> It would be also good if an admin in Zimbra can configure the Zimlet >> >>>> configuration via the Zimbra Web-Interface.
