I don#t know the current situation for Xuggle. The company was aquired some time ago. Seems like the new company somehow continued support but on very low level if you follow the statistics: https://github.com/xuggle
In the Xuggle relied on FFMPEG internally. I have no idea if they still do, but I think they planned to kill the Red5 Bridge since FFMPEG supports RTMP natively.
