Joseph, I have fixed the issue OPENMEETINGS-394 in trunk, I could not find the problem on the demo server, that runs version 2.0.
However there are 2 possible workaround that you could apply to version 2.0 just in case: 1.) check and eventually create a folder: webapps/openmeetings/upload/*stored*/ 2.) instead of drag and drop'ing the stored file from the file-explorer to the whiteboard, you should right click on it and choose "load to whiteboard" Sebastian 2012/8/8 Joseph Karwat <[email protected]> > This bug is in the official 2.0 release and in the latest trunk > > Joseph Karwat | CEO | 415-462-0263 | JellVideo | www.jellnet.com | > JELL NETWORKS, INC. > Enterprise Video Collaboration Solutions > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2012 12:27 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Cannot drag saved whiteboard back to a whiteboard > > Ok, > > I've created an issue: > https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-394 > > Please add you comments. > > Thanks! > Sebastian > > 2012/8/8 Maxim Solodovnik <[email protected]>: > > i was able to reproduce it in 2.1 (latest trunk) > > > > On Wed, Aug 8, 2012 at 1:58 PM, [email protected] > > <[email protected] > >> wrote: > > > >> save whiteboard to image/export as image was removed. > >> But save whiteboard to FileExplorer and then reloading is still > >> active and should work. > >> > >> I will look into that issues. > >> Joseph could you please tell us which version you've been using so > >> that I can try to reproduce it? > >> > >> Thanks! > >> Sebastian > >> > >> 2012/8/8 Maxim Solodovnik <[email protected]>: > >> > I'm afraid save whiteboard function was removed from Om due to some > >> issues. > >> > The button Save should be removed or disabled as well, but remain. > >> > > >> > We are hoping to get this feature back to the project, but not sure > when. > >> > > >> > Right now you can use system PrintScreen feature then import image > >> > to the room and put it on any whiteboard you wish > >> > > >> > On Wed, Aug 8, 2012 at 1:26 AM, Joseph Karwat <[email protected]> > >> wrote: > >> > > >> >> Is this a known bug, or am I simply not doing something right.**** > >> >> > >> >> ** ** > >> >> > >> >> Using OM2.0 rev1361497**** > >> >> > >> >> **1) **I save the whiteboard**** > >> >> > >> >> **2) **I open a new whiteboard**** > >> >> > >> >> **3) **I try to load (drag) the saved whiteboard file to the new > >> >> whiteboard.**** > >> >> > >> >> **4) **Nothing happens.**** > >> >> > >> >> Any thoughts.**** > >> >> > >> >> ** ** > >> >> > >> >> Joseph Karwat | CEO | 415-462-0263 | JellVideo < > >> http://www.jellvideo.com/>| > >> >> www.jellnet.com | [image: 3psquare93x77] **** > >> >> > >> >> *Jell Networks, Inc**. * > >> >> > >> >> Enterprise Video Collaboration Solutions**** > >> >> > >> >> ** ** > >> >> > >> >> ** ** > >> >> > >> >> ** ** > >> >> > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > -- > >> > WBR > >> > Maxim aka solomax > >> > >> > >> > >> -- > >> Sebastian Wagner > >> https://twitter.com/#!/dead_lock > >> http://www.webbase-design.de > >> http://www.wagner-sebastian.com > >> [email protected] > >> > > > > > > > > -- > > WBR > > Maxim aka solomax > > > > -- > Sebastian Wagner > https://twitter.com/#!/dead_lock > http://www.webbase-design.de > http://www.wagner-sebastian.com > [email protected] > > -- Sebastian Wagner https://twitter.com/#!/dead_lock http://www.webbase-design.de http://www.wagner-sebastian.com [email protected]
