Hello Maxim, current design prevents Openmeetings to work "out of the box" for most of clients who have closed ports. Configuring Apache is an extra effort, and we don't have good instruction explaing how to do that configuration.
I believe it is suffieicent to change web.xml to make things work, and add few lines which process configuration file to extract "one port for tunnelling all traffic". If this is not a mistake, there is nothing to break here. In case Alexey finds out it is required to write a lot of code (e.g. self-made proxy) to complete this, then probably we can live with Apache and get better instruction. -- With best regards / с наилучшими пожеланиями, Alexei Fedotov / Алексей Федотов, http://dataved.ru/ +7 916 562 8095 On Tue, Dec 25, 2012 at 12:05 PM, Maxim Solodovnik <[email protected]> wrote: > I doubt we should change Apache server which is > 1) very stable > 2) eats ~5M per process > > with something we will need to maintain ourselves ....
