Hallo Georg, I don't understand this request. There are no identical boxes. 1) There is the Audio / Video test where you can record 5 seconds of video and playback (this pops up even before entering the room) 2) There are the device settings to choose your audio / video
=> Both boxes have on the bottom a checkbox already "do not ask again". => In the roomtype restricted the (2) popup will not popup => In the room configuration you can disable the popup (1) I don't think that there is something to do here. As for the resolution: You always can re-start your audio/video by clicking on the re-sync icon and choose different settings and restart the publishing.
