You should check if there is an issue with Java in general. I don't think that its an OpenMeetings related problem. You could try for example this simple Java Test: http://pastebin.com/DmhcAuVE It should print a Date/Time every 0,5 seconds. I've attached a compiled version of the programm. You can run it using: java DoJavaTest I guess you will see that even with such simple programm your CPU is at 100%.
