This isn't exactly a new topic here ;-) However, Nelson also asked for feedback on the linux-input list but hasn't gotten a response yet. This is a bit disappointing. If you want to rehash the pro and contra arguments, that may be a better place. When the keepers of the holy grail see a discussion, they might feel less lethargic and actually voice their opinion. - Werner
