The ext2 parser in Qi came out of U-Boot, it also works for ext3. Whether it'll also do ext4 I don't know, but it might. ext4 is becoming "real" now so support would be good, let us know what you find. | So far I've done the usual stuff - small ext3 partition with kernel and append- | GTA02 (which points to second partition with root). It works ok, but I'm just | wondering if having two root= on a command line won't mess up anything in the | future (Qi adds first root=). |> root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 rootdelay=1 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 A better way to come at that is use the noboot-GTA02 thing http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Qi#Files on your normal partition to force it skipped by Qi. Then it will create the correct root= on the second one automatically. - -Andy -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkmh6qgACgkQOjLpvpq7dMr95gCfQnUgDhlQoMFVUHi82kZMV4i0 SAAAn0c5f/R8B6NCpYpslLgVhJC6hnAq =NPaB -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
