Grant,

Here is the mailing list item on general-incubator list that I saw regarding this issue:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-general/201107.mbox/%3cCAPVuaYseuyThYkBLgsjHUmw23dNFv2HQ30=++e-phOeuL=m...@mail.gmail.com%3e

The last email I could find on the topic was here from Jorn on 11/25/2010:
For now Benson asked us to wait for the new mailing lists,
we will continue the discussion then over there and decide
how we proceed.

  Hi all,
as far as I know everyone who contributed
a significant amount of code to OpenNLP
should sign a Software Grant.

Jason, do you know who that should be ?
Is there anyone of the inactive committers
we have to contact for a Software Grant ?

Should we make a PDF containing all the
Software Grants, or should everyone send
it separately to the ASF ?

I couldn't find any followups that I'm aware of. Anyone can chime in on weather the documents got into the ASF hands properly?

According to http://incubator.apache.org/projects/opennlp.html it's not.

Who owns the copyright? I think it's pretty straightforward to fill out the
rest of those missing items, just need whoever is the owner (Jason and the
other original committers at the SourceForge project) to sign off.

Everyone,

I saw a thread on the general-help list about copyright sign-off about July
5th... We where listed as one of the projects to check and be sure we had the
copyright material signed-off for the existing base and future code. I thought
that was done before we imported the code into SVN.
Anyone remember if it was completed?

Thanks,
James
