Hi All,
I want to implement a new features for OpenNMS: Grouping Nodes & Services to
help monitoring.
My problem is the I have a huge network and I want to group my hardware in
base on particular services.
For example:
- All sites
- MySite1
- Server 1
- Http 80
- Server 2
- Http 80
- MySite2
- Server 3
- Router 1
A want to see into the dashboard a link to "All Sites" (the status depende
on MySite1 and MySite2) and cliking on MySite1 I can see the details and so
on...
In simple term I want to create a system to create "virtual nodes" that has
the ability to contains other nodes or virtual nodes and so on...
Before starting, anyone has some advice to do that in the simpler and faster
way?
