Hi all,
I have some subsystems installed on a CentOS 5.2 machine which generate and add
log entries to a file called output.log which is located on the same box where
I have my OpenNMS installed.
Each line of entry has three values.
Now I would like to turn these log entries into events and configure OpenNMS to
watch this log file and pick them up as events.
So far, I learned this will be known as exernal event and I should somehow
create a XML file in /opt/opennms/etc/events directory (i.e. Output.xml) and
add it to the eventconf.xml file as an include file:
<event-file>events/Output.xml</event-file> but I'm not sure how to do this...
Can someone please help me with this?
Thanks in advance
