It's all good with me either way, but I had some concerns as these
configs caused me some real grief.

Per-JVM, it generates 3 or 4 extra jrb files with multiple values
being stored in each; and when you're monitoring hundreds of JVMs, the
problem quickly scales out of control like it did to me.

The JMX stuff is my pleasure to contribute. I need to start a
discussion on something I'm developing in lab on that front, but i
think it should be in a separate thread.
