Gang: Does anyone know where I can find a log for the poller status object that gets passed from remote poller to the main OpenNMS instance? It needs to include an identifier for the remote poller and the timestamp/value of the response time measured.
I'm trying to diagnose a problem where the .jrb file for a particular remotely monitored service (in $OPENNMS_SHARE/rrd/response/distributed/[pollerID]/[IP]/[service].jrb gets updated right on time, but occasionally contains NaNs. This results in gaps in the graphs. I can't seem to find anywhere in the logs where this action gets noted, as I'd like to be able to see what value is being passed from the remote monitor. I thought it could be that the timestamp simply crossed from one interval to another (i.e. with a 5 minute poll, one poll could come in at 00:04:59 and the next at 00:10:01) but I've seen instances of multiple NaNs in a row. I then thought perhaps the remote poller didn't check in, but that wouldn't explain why the timestamp on the .jrb file updates right on time.
