My name is Lavinia Bobonete and I am now pursuing a Master degree in
Computer Science, at Politehnica University of Bucharest.
I have a couple of years experience with Java, both SE and EE (including
REST API:JAX-RS and Hibernate), so there shouldn't be any programming
barriers.
I've looked over your proposed projects and there is more than one project
that catches my attention: the new REST API for OpenNMS, the Application
Stack View, the refactoring of Web UI and converting OpenNMS to use
Hibernate. These all correspond to my area of interest. But I have a
question: is there any project with a higher priority in the development of
OpenNMS? And secondly: how can I start getting involved?
I'm looking forward to hearing from you and being a valuable part of the
