Ronny,

That's pretty cool that the CI build environment is starting to be documented.
I've recently added the wiki page on running unit tests, with a mention about
SonarQube in it. I think providing people information on how to "hook" their
$EDITOR into these environments would be a good next step, along with
documenting how someone could setup their own "CI" environment. Since there are
already existing github repos for some of these configurations, I don't see it
taking much effort create wiki pages to point to some of those for their
configurations.

Another determination to be made is whether to have separate repo's for
configurations or whether there should be an "opennms-dev-environment" repo
that all of these bits were in. (ex: import opennms-nexus into it, import the
eclipse formatter xml & config from opennms/src/main/.)

I created my own repo for Jenkins configurations I was running at home at
https://github.com/roskens/opennms-jenkins.

Subject: [opennms-devel] Build environment

Hey Folks,

we had a little rebuilding in our network infrastructure. I spend yesterday
some time rebuilding our volunteered driven build environment based on Jenkins
and Sonar. I found this Wiki page about it and thought extending it a little
bit could be a good idea.

If you somebody has nice ideas or is interested do not hesitate and drop me a
note.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day

Greetings from Fulda
