Rrd4j is a fork of the JRobin code. Rrd4j supports a 2nd file layout which 
attempts to minimize the number of blocks to be updated when it is updated.

I added a few more features from rrdtool into JRobin, and those features have 
also been incorporated into Rrd4J. I don't think either fully support every 
command/configuration option that rrdtool does.
