Hi,
the opensync people have developed a new cool tool which allows using
SyncML over obex over usb to transfer contacts, calendar and other items.
Try it out if you have the right hardware. Says Armin Bauer:
===================
I added a new tool to libsyncml called syncml-obex-client. This tool can
be used to emulate and test syncml synchronization using obex over usb.
So if you own a syncml capable phone and also happen to have a usb
cable, i would really appreciate to get some feedback about the devices
the tool supports correctly.
So, if you are willing to give it a shot, please take a look at
http://libsyncml.opensync.org/wiki/obex-guide
which explains in detail what has to be done.
The next steps are now to create a opensync plugin which uses the
libsyncml to finally get complete syncml synchronization.
===================
Cheers,
Alexander
