I like the effort but can you split that up into the two task that you achieve with it? 1: the connection type cleanup 2: the AT+CPROT inclusion That would make it a bit easier to include in other patchsets. I could test the first part (the cleanup) but I do not have a phone to test the second part (Siemens does not support this).
