I have been building OpenOCD with no trouble, however I do notice I can't seem
to get a good copy of libtool in my build directory. I usually have to delete
it after a run of "bootstrap - configure - make - fail...", as I only remember
then that this thing was rebuilt. I then have to create a symbolic link to the
working libtool on my system. I hunted around the interwebs only to find that
there were similar issues, but no good resolution. I was wondering if anyone
else here has run into this. I would ask in a "libtool" forum, but I'm trying
to get a better handle on the libtool build process before I go there, so maybe
I can ask a better question. Right now, while I understand libtool's purpose
and use, I don't know much about how it gets built, and I figure someone here
might at least know which tools I need to ask about (I would have thought
"libtoolize", but I'm not sure that's where my problem lies).

Just a quick problem analysis: It seems libtool produces no output, which can
only be seen as make failures because files turn up missing.

Thanks for the time,

Brandon.
