Which information do you need to get an idea what the beagle script is 
expected to do?

It's my understanding that the script tries to implement what's 
documented in

http://elinux.org/OMAP3530_ICEPICK#Adding_TAPs_to_the_Scan_Chain

and is called there "The route to JTAG shift state is 'shortest 
transition".
