Hi

In trying to test whether this problem was fixed on Redhat-9, I found
that the platform detection code fails.

Building with
sh openpkg-20030916-20030916.src.sh --prefix=$HOME/openpkg2

results in
++ bootstrap version: 20030916-20030916
++ user/group pairs: root/root conrad/conrad conrad/conrad conrad/conrad
++ location id: hco
++ distribution directory:
/home/conrad/openpkg/openpkg-20030916-20030916.src
++ platform: i686-pc-linux-gnu2 (Sorry: not supported)
++ executing(%prep): sh /tmp/openpkg.boot.prep.sh

...

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| PREPARATION: Determine OpenPKG Instance
Environment                         |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
+ '[' .set = .set ']'
+ loc=hco
+ echo 'loc="hco"; export loc'
+ s=Linux
+ r=2.4.20-9
+ plid=Linux/2.4.20-9

...

++ resulting files (placed into ..):
ls: openpkg-20030916-20030916.-hco.rpm: No such file or directory
ls: openpkg-20030916-20030916.src.rpm: No such file or directory

Cheers

Conrad
