I submitted a change to the pine package about 3 weeks ago to support
building pine with LDAP on Solaris 9. That was for building with LDAP
without sasl. Now that I've built LDAP *with* sasl, pine will no longer
build with LDAP on either RedHat 9 or Solaris 9, since it does not know
where to find the required sasl libraries.
One solution, which I've uploaded to your contrib area (see
pine-4.58L-20031024.src.rpm), is to add:
ldflags="$ldflags -lsasl2 -ldl"
conditionally if "with_ldap == yes". It would be better, I suppose, to only
add the libraries if the LDAP in question was built with sasl, but I don't
know any way to detect that.
