No, do not add such a blank. Yes, I know that it works with and without, but
we should be consistent and we never use a blank.  The other stuff is fine,
but what "incomplete target paths" do you mean? The script was already used
for rolling 1.0 and it worked like hell, so where are incomplete paths?
