What's xf? Attempting to build postgresql in the release version of
openpkg, on FreeBSD 4.7 the build fails saying it can't find ``xf''. The
command that fails is:
gzip -d -c man.tar.gz | xf -

It is practically impossible to teach good programming style to
students that have had prior exposure to BASIC: as potential
programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of
regeneration.
