I ran into a problem with rpm under the current version of openpkg (at
least current within the last couple of weeks :-). Running the command
``openpkg rpm --setugids'' returns an error:

$prefix/lib/openpkg/bash: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `do'
$prefix/lib/openpkg/bash: line 1: `do () { chown -- "$1" "$3"; chgrp -- "$2" "$3"; }'

I just built openpkg-20040422-20040422 which is slightly newer than what
I've been running but don't see any differences in the rpmpopt.in file
which seems to generate this. It gives the same errors as the earlier
version. I get the same behaviour on SuSE 9.0 Professional and
FreeBSD 4.8.

You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a
reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating
the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for
independence.
