While working on openpkg boostrap, I see that my system, PASE on AS/400, which report itself as os400, is not recognised by make 3.80 config.sub and config.guess.
Adding latest config.sub and config.guess from GNU solve he problem and make compiled without problem. Did you plan to add latest config.sub and config.guess in bootstrap process or did there is a way to add such 'patches' after untar and before configure ?
