We use NIS in our environment and so I have added the cw, cw-r and cw-n users prior to installing openpkg. However it seems that this somehow confuses openpkg as it doesn't set the ownership properly. Our problem is that I need to create the uid's prior to installation because we have something like 40,000 user accounts so uid consistency is rather important. We don't want these uid's on the local hosts either. How do I make this work or is it even possible? Something isn't adding up right, that's for sure. Thanks.
