I spoke too soon. While this patch applies with no problems the resulting program fails to compile. I checked the web site in the track section of the openssh.spec file, and it appears that nothing has been done on this recently so it may be a good idea to drop this from the package. I did find another problem building this package resulting in a syntax error in the sftp-server.c file which I will document in another message. The openssh package seems to be a bit vulnerable to issues when various combinations of options are specified (e.g. if one turns sftplogging off, it results in a patch failure). Regression testing all combinations of options is a major pain. Bill -- INTERNET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Bill Campbell; Celestial Software LLC URL: http://www.celestial.com/ PO Box 820; 6641 E. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. -- Thomas Jefferson 1802 ______________________________________________________________________ OpenPKG http://openpkg.org User Communication List openpkg-users@openpkg.org
