Hi All, The 5.0.FC tag has been applied and the new branch opensaf-5.0.x has been created (changeset 7430). A release candidate 5.0.RC1 will be made available on this Friday, April 8th.
This means that the OpenSAF 5.0 release is closed for enhancements (except any incremental fixes to the following tickets -1569, 1586, 1613, 1620, 69). Bug fixes of course can still go in to the opensaf-5.0.x branch. Please continue to update the READMEs and programmer's reference documents with sufficient information for the end user. You should be able to contribute new features for the next 5.1 release in the 'default' branch. Iam happy to see all the efforts that have been put into getting the enhancements ready and pushed in time for the FC tagging. There have been some big functional changes, like the first big step towards treating all nodes the same(system controllers and Payloads), etc. Let us now focus on testing the code on the opensaf-5.0.x branch during the next few weeks to ensure that the 5.0 architectural release gets the right quality.
