Hi all!
We have now created a new release branch for the upcoming 5.17.11
release, and this new release branch is available for pushing bug-fixes
only. If you have an old clone of the OpenSAF GIT repository, then you
might have to delete the old release branch from your local clone. Use
the following commands: git checkout develop; git branch -D release
We now have the following branches:
release: for important bug-fixes that shall go into the OpenSAF 5.17.11
release. Note that you shall fix the bug on the develop branch and then
cherry-pick it and push it to the release branch as well. Avoid pushing
unimportant bug-fixes to the release branch.
develop: for new enhancements as well as all bug-fixes. This will become
the next major OpenSAF release, probably OpenSAF 5.18.01
