Hi, Did you pass any options to the ./configure step? Is it an RPM installation or 'make install'? After installation, do an ldonfig and retry. If the problem still persists, can you try ./configure CFLAGS=-DRUNASROOT And share the contents of /var/log/opensaf/ directory.
Thanks, Mathi. > -----Original Message----- > From: Pawar Neha [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Tuesday, June 18, 2013 1:48 AM > To: [email protected]; [email protected] > Subject: [users] Opensaf Installation > > Hi, > > Environment used :HP laptop ,Intel i7 740qm ,8GB DDR3 RAM ,500 GB > HardDisk > Software Environment :Ubuntu 10.04,Opensaf mercurial opensaf- > b21de4b9dfff > > Hi i followed all the steps. > Install all the pre-requisites,TIPC etc. > I have two controller nodes in my cluster. > Now when i give the command to start the opensaf on either of the node i > get the following error > > > neha1@neha1-desktop:~$ cd /etc/init.d > neha1@neha1-desktop:/etc/init.d$ sudo ./opensafd start > [sudo] password for neha1: > Starting OpenSAF Services: /usr/local/lib/opensaf/opensafd: error while > loading shared libraries: libopensaf_core.so.0: cannot open shared object > file: No such file or directory > * > > > > > This is the log > Jun 17 16:13:14 neha1-desktop opensafd: Starting the OpenSAF HA > Framework > Jun 17 16:13:14 neha1-desktop kernel: [ 596.098052] TIPC: Disabling bearer > <eth:eth0> > Jun 17 16:13:14 neha1-desktop kernel: [ 596.098074] TIPC: Left network > mode > Jun 17 16:13:14 neha1-desktop kernel: [ 596.098140] NET: Unregistered > protocol family 30 > Jun 17 16:13:14 neha1-desktop kernel: [ 596.098152] TIPC: Deactivated > Jun 17 16:13:16 neha1-desktop opensafd: Starting OpenSAF failed > Jun 17 16:14:17 neha1-desktop pulseaudio[1216]: alsa-sink.c: ALSA woke us > up to write new data to the device, but there was actually nothing to write! > Jun 17 16:14:17 neha1-desktop pulseaudio[1216]: alsa-sink.c: Most likely > this is a bug in the ALSA driver 'snd_intel8x0'.
