Hi,
I am working on a set-up where:
1. We start openSAF on node N1 such that it comes up as Active.
2. We start openSAF on node N2 such that it comes up as Standby.
OpenSAF version that I am using is 4.2.0
And in the above setup there are 3 sub-scenarios:
Scenario 1:
1. We stop openSAF on the Active node i.e. on N1, then node N2 switches
to Active mode and in my application the call to the function
saCkptActiveReplicaSet()from CSI_StateChange_cb on node N2, returns SA_AIS_OK.
Scenario 2:
1. We do a mastership swap i.e. N2 becomes Active and N1 becomes Standby.
2. We stop openSAF on N2 and then N1 should switch to Active mode.
3. Now N1 switches to Active mode and in my application, the call to the
function saCkptActiveReplicaSet()from CSI_StateChange_cb, returns
SA_AIS_ERR_TRY_AGAIN.
Scenario 3:
1. We do a mastership swap for the first time i.e. N2 becomes Active and
N1 becomes Standby.
2. We again do a mastership swap (the second time) i.e. N1 becomes Active
and N2 becomes Standby.
3. And now also, the call to the function saCkptActiveReplicaSet()from
CSI_StateChange_cb, returns SA_AIS_OK.
Why in scenario 2 the saCkptActiveReplicaSet() returns SA_AIS_ERR_TRY_AGAIN ?
How to deal with this scenario ?
