Hello,

Appreciate if someone could take a look at my question.

The summar of the problem is -
On Fedora 18, two services (CKPT and MSG services) do not get started by
default. Therefore, the 2 demo applications mentioned in the subject do not
work. However, amf_demo, snmp sample work fine.

Note: There is no issue on Fedora 14, and all samples appear to work.

Question(s) :
How do I get two services (CKPT and MSG services) to start by default on F18?

What am I missing ?

Thanks,

Subject: CKPT_DEMO AND MSG_DEMO sample applications

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the 'right' form for this question.

Setup: 2 SCs and 2 PLs (one PL is down).

CKPT_DEMO AND MSG_DEMO sample applications to not run. I get the following
error:
(a) For *ckpt_demo (*on SC1 and SC2)
[root@f18-opensaf-00 opensaf]# ckpt_demo 1

I suppose the configure, make and yum install has not started the CKPT and MSG
services.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,
