Hi, I'm trying to run VLC application on OpenSAF which installed on Ubuntu 64 on VMware player (two separate VM).
I'm using AppConfig-2N-SaAware.xml file to merge the configration. Once I run the OpenSAF and issue the command amf-state su , I got the following results: safSu=SU1,safSg=AmfDemo,safApp=AmfDemo1 saAmfSUAdminState=UNLOCKED(1) saAmfSUOperState=DISABLED(2) saAmfSUPresenceState=INSTANTIATION-FAILED(6) saAmfSUReadinessState=OUT-OF-SERVICE(1) safSu=SU2,safSg=AmfDemo,safApp=AmfDemo1 saAmfSUAdminState=UNLOCKED(1) saAmfSUOperState=DISABLED(2) saAmfSUPresenceState=INSTANTIATION-FAILED(6) saAmfSUReadinessState=OUT-OF-SERVICE(1) I check the syslog, I got the following log: Oct 22 12:28:37 flap-vnode5 osafamfnd[2031]: Reason: component registration timer expired Oct 22 12:28:37 flap-vnode5 logger: VLC component is cleaning up:12:28:37+066989195 Oct 22 12:28:37 flap-vnode5 osafamfnd[2031]: 'safComp=AmfDemo,safSu=SU1,safSg=AmfDemo,safApp=AmfDemo1' Presence State INSTANTIATING => INSTANTIATION_FAILED Oct 22 12:28:37 flap-vnode5 osafamfnd[2031]: 'safSu=SU1,safSg=AmfDemo,safApp=AmfDemo1' Presence State INSTANTIATING => INSTANTIATION_FAILED I highly appreciate any kind of help or advice to solve such a problem and be able to run the VLC application.
