In the OpenSAF 5.1 README file it states:
OpenSAF requires Linux version 4.4.22 or later when configured with the
--enable-tipc option.
We are using Linux Kernel 3.10.34 and cannot upgrade at this
time to Linux Kernel 4.4.22 to run OpenSAF 5.1.
Can OpenSAF 5.1 run with the version of TIPC included in the
3.10.34 Linux Kernel without any problems?
Or should we back-port the TIPC code from Linux Kernel 4.4.22 to Linux Kernel
3.10.34? Or back-port it from newer versions of the 3.x Linux code?
If we do back-port the code are there any kernel changes that OpenSAF needs in
4.4.22 that will not exist in 3.10.34. (or 3.x Linux Kernel?)
