I don't know the code well enough to comment on the technical aspect. but that does not sound like a small change, so for opensc 0.11.1 I'd simply like to revert the lock_login value, and release a new release candidate, so we can get 0.11.1 with bugfixes our of the door and meanwhile develop above or any other solution in trunk. is that ok for everyone?
