So I continued to follow the directions on the OpenSC QuickStart page, and I
was able to create the certificate file req.pem. And I was also able to put
the certificate onto the card as instructed.

How do I verify that the certificate is on the card?

I was trying to run "verify" in opensc-explorer, but I entered the wrong
password too many times and now it says "authentication locked"!

What is the correct format for the "verify" command? Do I just put my KEY as
"111111" or as "11:11:11"? When I initialized the card, I entered "111111"
as the user PIN. I'm assuming this is the same as the "KEY"?

Here is what I did:
OpenSC [3F00]> verify KEY1 11:11:11
sec.c:201:: returning with: PIN code or key incorrect
Incorrect code.
OpenSC [3F00]> verify KEY1 111111
Authentication method blocked
sec.c:201:: returning with: Authentication method blocked
Unable to verify PIN code: Authentication method blocked

How do I unlock the card now?

Also, if I want to clear the card and reinitialize it, would I use
"pkcs15-init --erase-card"?

Thanks,

Siddhartha
