Yes and no. We use PuTTY with SSPI/GSSAPI/Kerberos a lot  by login in
to windows get kerberos ticket.  If using a smartcard, with winlogin
to AD, it use PKINIT it gets a kerberos ticket. So the PuTTY is
the same.

But I can see where some people using a PIV card would find it useful
to use the card with SSH keys directly. It would be nice if the PuTTY
had both sets of mods.
