The .exe files work with these instructions, but I couldn't get openpsc-pkcs11.dll installed into Firefox. My guess is, that this is a question of a library path. Perhaps openpsc-pkcs11.dll doesn't find the other .dll files. My method of copying the opensc-i686-pc-mingw32/bin files over an existing Smart card bundle installation helps. (But doesn't feel like being the state of art.)
