ubuntu still has at least a small bug in the current
package (see bug reports on launchpad.net).

I took some time to apply a few fixes from debian
to our openct trunk, fix a small issue in openct
packaging, and create a pre release 0.6.16-pre1.

then I ported the last debian *.diff.gz patch
to that new version and migrated it to using
the hal setup.

please give it a try, binary packages for amd64,
upstream source and the debianized source are all
available at
        http://www.opensc-project.org/debian/openct/

there is one small issue I don't know how to fix:
openct debian package uses cdbs and contains a
file "openct.doc-base.manual" with information
for doc base. now we install two manuals with
openct-doc: the end user manual in /usr/share/doc/openct/html/
and the api manual in .../openct/html/api/

the doc-base format allows only one documentation
per doc-base file, so how can I create a second
one with cdbs? simply create .manual2? what else?
if there is any debian packaging expert on this
list, help would be very welcome.

Regards, Andreas
