has the first release candidate for OpenSC 0.11.12. So far it contains a fix for the asn.1 integer problem some people face. It is hardcoded to act on "starcos" cards only, and only fixes pinReference and keyReference fields. If other cards with the same problems are found, we can easily extend this (but it will need code changes). Please give it a test (most important if you are using starcos cards), and let me know if it works for you.
