Ah, ok. I have some internal, very early versions of an FLT loader, and
I'm using PLY as an example for new people to get into the system. I
would like to have a JT loader, and there is some support in CadKit, but
nothing usable. I don't know of any other loaders in development right
now.
Extensions: I'm not aware of anybody working on extensions concerning
free-form surfaces or higher-level geometry right now. Unless somebody's
working on it and didn't tell me. ;) There is a thesis going on working
on points, but that's it.
