Itanium or Athlon? In general we haven't had any bad experience with 64
bit that I know of, but my personal experience is limited.

I'm planning to add VBO support, but right now I don't see a way to get
around keeping an additional copy in memory. In theory VBOs can be
designated for reading, too, but I'm weary of multi-threading issues.
But yes, there will be VBO support.
