VR in Entertainment 
Monday July 25th 1:30-3:30 pm, Majestic Room 
Since the late 80's, entertainment has been identified as one of virtual
reality's primary markets. In these 20 years, VR technology has evolved
from its initial concept of head gear and trackers to a much wider range
of systems, technologies, and settings. This panel explores what is VR
today in the entertainment market and its challenges to bring this
technology to the public. Panelists will also discuss their 1st hand
experiences on creating virtual worlds for entertainment, lessons
learned, success stories as well as disappointing stories. The panel
will also address the business aspects of this market. Each one of the
VR pioneers in the panel with provide a short presentation on their
individual views about how VR meets the entertainment needs and the open
the floor to the audience for the panel discussion. All the panelists
are well-known for their passionate views on VR technology and its
applications, so come prepared to participate in a liveley and exciting
panel!
