I'm loading a huge model made of several VRML linked together...
More exactly I have from ten to twenty VRML each one witj 2000-150000 triangles.
I tried using graph operators for scenegraph optimization, this improves
performance but I need more.
I was wondering if I could use some space partitioning technique, for example I
could subdivide my space in areas, record which files are visible in each area,
calculate which area are visible from current camera position and set as active
only the scenegraph nodes that are actually visible...
What do you think?
Any ideas?
