I apologize for following up on my own post, but there is a little bit of inaccuracy in what I have described above. The nodes that are deactivated almost always have a core of type OSG::Transform. If they do not, then they have a core of type OSG::Group. Since OSG::Group is an ancestor of OSG::Transform, my statement above is not exactly wrong, but it could be confusing given the diagram that I posted along with it. -Patrick -- Patrick L.
