Hey, I found out why the patch didnt work.. its because the lib and
include dir, added to the path by the python lines below:
+ if vtk_option.baseDir:
+ cpppath.append(pj(vtk_option.baseDir, 'include',
vtk_option.vtkVersion))
+ libpath.append(pj(vtk_option.baseDir, 'lib'))
were added without the '/' before the baseDir. In short, if one specifies
the VtkBaseDir as being <SOMEDIR/> it works. Otherwise the include dir used
by scons gets like SOMEDIRinclude/vtk and SOMEDIRlib... So, the python code
should check by itself if the '/' is present or not. Its the same fo add '/'
to the code ( eg. libpath.append(pj(vtk_option.baseDir, '/lib') ) or to
add to VtkBaseDir.. Adding the '/' made it work!
