Hi All. Now that I've compiled correctly OpenSG 2.0 + vtk contrib under
windows, I'm testing the VTK contrib test that comes with VTK contrib in a
cluster environment using MultiDisplayWindow. I suspect that the VTK contrib
is not build to support clustering, because there are physical vtk pointers
inside the mapper, but I'm not sure that it doest work on cluster. After
implementing the vtk contrib test with multidisplaywindow and trying to
render it on servers in a cluster, I get these debug messages below at each
server:
10.0.0.100 3001
WARNING: Unknown Type: Transform
WARNING: Unknown TypeID: 802 for remote id 1186
WARNING: Unknown TypeID: 802 for remote id 1190
WARNING: Unknown Type: DirectionalLight

WARNING: Unknown Type: SimpleStatisticsForeground
WARNING: Unknown TypeID: 930 for remote id 1196

WARNING: Can't find container id:1192
WARNING: Can't change unknown FC:1192 skip 93 bytes.
WARNING: Can't find container id:210
wich, I think, is an indication that the contrib does not work on cluster...
but I'm not sure about.. Can anyone say if the VTK contrib of OpenSG
2.0works along with OpenSG
2.0 native clustering support?
The above messages seem to indicate that mapping to remote object were not
well succeeded, or something like that...
can anyone help me?
I only need to know if VTK contrib is originally built to provide VTK
support along with clustering support. If doesnt, no prob, I'll work on my
own solution for it (may be an improvement to vtk contrib?), but using
something that is already done is much much better and safe... ;)
Thank in advance!
