I am reproducing Helen's bug #403154 (100% CPU core usage when previewing time-line) with my r200 dev-branch build.
Helen and I managed to pin it down tonight using the debugger (gdb) to a problem with libasound2/libSDL spinning - possibly due to missing/incorrect signal handling?
