Oh, sorry for that then. But the package (python-mlt) is from the same repository as openshot...?
http://ppa.launchpad.net/jonoomph/openshot-edge/ubuntu I contact the ppa maintainer.. ** Changed in: openshot Status: New => Invalid -- Wrong dependency libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio on Ubuntu 9.10 when using ALSA only? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Invalid Bug description: When I try to install OpneShot on my Ubuntu 9.10 from the ppa, Synaptic tells me that I have to remove libsdl1.2debian-alsa and install libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio instead. As i am not using pulseaudio (i finally managed it to disable and completely remove pulse) i don't want to install that. But as far as I know the SDL libaries, there should be no problem using ALSA instead of Pulse (the application using sdl doesn't notice the difference) I think you could (should) change that dependency... ( libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio | libsdl1.2debian-alsa | libsdl1.2debian-oss | libsdl1.2debian-esd | libsdl1.2debian-nas ) Thank you. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
